The Diamond Peak 9^th Annual Dummy Downhill Had the Biggest Turnout Ever

Incline Village, NV- Diamond Peak held the 9^th Annual Dummy Downhill on March 29^th with the best turnout ever! Twenty-seven dummies entered, with names like “Clover Power”, “Jack in the Box”, “Cookie Monster”, “Censored Sally”, the “Flying Lolita” and more! The outside deck was full of people clapping and cheering for their favorite fake friends. This year, the dummies showed superior engineering and a lot of creativity.  This year’s Dummy Downhill hosted the most dummies in the history of the event.

Awards were given away to dummy owners for Longest Jump, Most Creative, Best Crash, Best Overall, and more.  Prizes included gift certificates to the Hacienda de la Sierra, Big Water Grille, Crosby’s, Porter’s, Village Ski Loft, Austin’s, Aloha Skin Spa, Cosmo’s Footworks, and Garwoods. Here are the winners:

Most Creative- Octomom

Best Crash- Table for One

Longest Jump- Penguin Pendeho

Best Overall- Just Buried

Best Bribe (for offering the judges half-eaten nachos) - Re-Entry B1RD

Stayed on Course/Best Landing- Bubba

Most like the Creators- Morning After

Judges included Big Water Grille’s John Cheney, Porter’s Store Manager Casey Peschke and Diamond Peak’s Ticketing Manager Buffy Patterson. Felix & the Soulcats played live music all afternoon.
