Diamond Peak Ski Resort’s January Events

Incline Village, NV- January is an exciting month for events at Diamond Peak! Check out what’s going on:

January 2nd: Celebrate Diamond Peak Night at the Hacienda de la Sierra from 7:00-10:00 pm. Enjoy live music by the Jason King Band, take advantage of food and drink specials, and enter the raffle for a chance to win Diamond Peak swag and lift tickets!

January 4th: The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Poker Run comes to Diamond Peak Ski Resort! Pay $10 to get a clue card which directs you to five dealers on the mountain. Pull a card from each dealer- the person with the best hand wins! Sponsors include Diamond Peak Ski Resort, Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, and Stallar Skate & Snow.

January 12-16th: Learn to ski or snowboard for only $29! The first-time beginner package includes a 1 hr 45 min lesson, lift ticket, and rental (for ages 7 and up) and is offered during Learn to Ski & Ride Week for $29. This package normally costs $81, so save over $50 by learning to ski or snowboard during Learn to Ski & Ride Week! This offer is designed for first-time skiers and snowboarders only. 

January 21st: It’s Community Appreciation Day! Anyone within a 50-mile radius can purchase a lift ticket for only $20 (Must show proof of residency).

January 24-25th: Enjoy the Diamond Peak Jiblet- an intermediate/advanced event designed for freestyle skiers and snowboarders. A special feature will be set up on the bottom of the Lodgepole lift that competitors can hit in a jam-style format. Diamond Peak offers a winner-take-all cash prize in the Open divisions based on number of entries. Sponsors include Stallar Skate & Snow.

January 26th: January 26th is ANZUS/ Australia Day! To celebrate our international employees we’ll be offering a special Australian BBQ on the Diamond Peak base lodge deck (weather permitting) with authentic Down Under food. Live music to be announced.

Keep in mind that Super Bowl Sunday is February 1st. Spend Super Bowl at Crosby’s for a chance to win an 09/10 Diamond Peak season pass and 42” flat screen TV. Get raffle tickets by spending Monday Night Football at Crosby’s!
